    Default Clouds

I know this is an old topic but I am upto 12 weeks of cloud at night here in Melbourne Australia.

Not total cloud outs, just haze at best then broken cloud then rain.

I have to say its getting very frustrating. New scope, new auto guider , software working. Cases bought... And I can't use any of them...

    Just venting ignore me.

The curse of the new scope is the absolute worst. We feel your pain.

Sorry to hear this hopefully it'll all clear up for you soon, as they say things average out over time so hopefully you'll get 12 weeks decent weather to counteract it sometime in the near future. No solace to your right now im sure, i feel it for you.

I wish manufactures of scopes and accessories would stop including free clouds and include free extra lenses or accessories instead!

I read elsewhere on the forum that the clouds are in the bubble wrap! Never pop the bubble wrap when unpacking the new gear!

Heh. I just got a new camera. I think the curse of the new camera is equally bad.

You seem to forget the rule mate: new gear on the yard = bad weather

My summer has been just like that, I feel you.
If memory serves, got out once in May and once in June.
    Then last Wednesday!
