Question Astromaster 114EQ with Bird-Jones eyepiece collimation "fix"?

Hello, I recently purchased an Astromaster 114EQ reflector telescope. It works quite well for my purposes but a problem arose when I recently started to research the collimation process of it. Because there is a Bird-Jones corrective lens in the eyepiece, normal collimation cannot be performed. It sounds like if I want to collimate it, I will need to remove the bird-jones lens and then collimate it like any other telescope. Obviously I am fully capable of doing this, but it seems like it may be a hassle to remove the eyepiece every time if I'm collimating it frequently. I have two questions: first, is it possible to replace the Bird-Jones eyepiece with a "normal" eyepiece so that collimation can be performed without removing the eyepiece? And second, if that is not possible, are there any steps of collimation of a bird-jones telescope that don't require removing the eyepiece, ex. collimating the primary, secondary, or aligning the secondary with the eyepiece.? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Sidenote-I don't have the money to purchase a more expensive telescope so please don't offer that as a solution:)

Default Re: Astromaster 114EQ with Bird-Jones eyepiece collimation "fix"?

    Hey there,
I really don't know that much about Bird Jones Reflectors. I had a Meade one but i returned it and purchased a Nexstar 130SLT.
Here is a url I think you might find handy: Telescope Reviews: Collimate Jones-Bird Advice Needed
I suggest you save up and buy a better telescope later. Orion is a good reccomendation.
