    Default Owl Astronomy UHC

    Hi guys,

So it was the time to get an UHC filter for my 8" reflector. As an astronomer on a tight budget, I had to go with the cheaper options. I ended up ordering a UHC filter from owlastronomy.com which costs a reasonable price and transmits a high percentage of H-Beta and O-III (according to the seller's description). Have I made a good choice? I want to know if anyone have had an experience with one of these filters. Any feedback will be truly appreciated.

Sure hope u get the filter. There was another post questioning whether Owl Astro is even in business still. In fact it doesn't appear they've updated their site in over a year. Might wanna call and confirm the order ..
