    Post First day of spring

SPRING HAS SPRUNG Today is the first day of spring. (Spring Equinox) Both day and night are each approximately 12 hours long . The Sun crosses the celestial equator going northward; it rises exactly due east and sets exactly due west. For those of us in the Northern hemisphere this means we have survived another long, cloudy, wet, and cold winter. May spring bring us all clear skies, dark nights, and the good health to enjoy them...Best regards, Dave

For some reason I thought it was the 21st! A quick check reveals you are spot on! However down south we are celebrating the first day of autumn(Fall). So a beer is called for! The weather here is starting to cool and soon our winter will be here with almost no rain and cloud and clear skies! Can't wait!!

    Cheers!

Spring ?? We've had snow this morning heavy clouds now, and more snow to come. 2 years ago today I was playing Golf without a sweater, how times change. Must be due to global warming.

Thanks Dave! Still waiting for Spring, here in Indiana...supposed to be 15 deg. tonight!! I'm an optimist...it'll probably be 80 deg. by next week. What we say here in the Midwest "if you don't like the weather, wait a day, it'll change".

Hi Dave. This reminds me of a poem (with poor grammar), that was popular when I was very young (a century ago? ).
Spring is sprung, the grass is riz.
I wonder where the birdies iz?
Thundershowers here all morning, but at least we are not having to wear our jackets anymore the last two days here in Florida, as the outside temperature is getting to be nice again. Best of regards to all.

Still waiting here, 30 cm of snow last night and today and I thought I was done with my snow blower for this year!
This used to be a great place to hang out but now it is not safe here anymore.
