    Default what lens and barlow



    Hi I am a newbie who has just bought a skywatcher 130p and was wondering if anyone can recomend a good barlow and a 6.5mm lens that isnt going to break the bank as I am on a budget also I am thinking of adding a motor drive to my scope and am not sure which one to buy I live in the south of france with plenty of clear nights and not too much lighl pollution but buying accesories for my scope here is near immpossible where I live so do most of my shopping on line from amazon and does anyone know is the seben barlow lens is any good as they seem to be too cheap any advice is welcome thanks

    Hi,

    Have a look at the wiki on eyepiece selection (click the link on those two words) before you purchase any. Having the right set of focal lengths is a key to getting the most out of your scope, but there are other factors such as eye releif, apparent field of view, coatings and optical quality that you should consider as well.
