    Default Photo Stacking

Hey everyone. What program is best to stack images from multiple exposure shots rather then stacking them from a video, I know this process is much more difficult and time consuming but what program would be the best?

It depends on what is in the image. If it is a planet, Registax is better. It will handle multiple images as well as videos. If it a deep space object, Deep Sky Stacker (DSS) will do the job better. DSS cannot handle planetary images, because it needs stars in order to perform the alignment. Registax is not good with DSOs, since it needs a surface texture in order to perform the alignment.
