    Default carborundum powder



    Hi i purchased two mirror blanks and others materials that i need to make telescope mirror but i am not getting the carborundum (silicon carbide) powder.
    I even dont know in which type of shop should i search for?
    please help me bro's.
    then how will i grind?

    I'm sorry this got missed for a while. It may be because you are on the Beginner's Forum and this is not where the people who grind mirrors usually spend much time.

    The best I could find for you was this: Grit Carborundum Powder in Mumbai, India on Infomedia Yellow Pages But if you are not in Mumbai those businesses might not be your best.

    Might I recommend you visit the ATM subforum: ATM DIY Telescope Making Forum ? There are usually people who can help you more on that subforum.
