Default First clear sky in a few weeks and what do ya know....

Well, since summer is here in FL(I don't think it really never left) we haven't had a good clear sky for weeks and the humidity is way down(for here) I go out to setup and what do I find? A 15to 20 mph wind out of the NE........ Oh well guess I'll have to just use my binos...........maybe the wind will keep the mosquitos at bay?

As long as you get out there and view something. You can't pass up a rare opportunity.

I've got the first clear night in three weeks, and it's on a new moon! Woo-hoo! I don't care if there are man-eating tigers out in the yard, I'm gonna be out there!

I had a skunk in the backyard the other night, but luckily seeing was pretty poor so I gave up early...and just in time!

Yeah it has been a struggle for me - a few clear nights, but the wind. It feels like the SE8 should be mounted on sailboats for the amount of wind its profile seems to grab

I feel ya. Got my first scope and it'll be clear all day. Then get over case at night! I was able to see Saturn tonight. My first! Well at least since I was a little kid!
