Default Quick & Dirty Collumation check

I constructed a collimation viewer from a 35mm film can by cutting off the bottom of the can, & drilling a 3/32" hole in the center of the lid. I then glued a piece of aluminum foil to the inside of the lid, and attached it to the bottomless film can. After inserting this into the focuser of my new NexStar 130 SLT telescope, I adjusted the primary mirror until the 'donut' in the center of the primary and the reflection of the hole in the hole in the film can lid were centered in the crosshairs formed by the spider in the secondary mirror. As a quick check of collimation, is this satisfacotry? Or should other methods be used?

It sounds interesting. Now check it with a star test and tell us if it worked.
