    Default Barlow advice

Need to buy a new barlow. Have been looking at Antares 2x and 1.5 combined barlow. Does anyone have an opinion on Antares (good or bad). Any other suggestions ? Got a strict budget of £35. Thanks in advance

I can't personally comment on the Antares as I never owned one but I have a GSO which works very well in my opinion. The GSO is 2x but can also be used for 1.5x.
I use the 1.5x element quite a lot with my ES 30mm EP and the view is awesome.

£35, you can get a good barlow for that.

Antares Antares Deluxe 1.25" 2x (and 1.5x) Barlow lens
a good price for it here.
    Sky-Watcher GSO 1.25" 2x (and 1.5x) Barlow lens
both are very similar, but the gso is a better option if you can stretch it.
