    That picture is the finder as fitted by Celestron. It has two plain clear disks. The rear one has an illuminating red dot within a (non-illuminating) printed circle. The forward disk has a 1mm hole and another (non-illuminating) printed circle.
    I have now removed the original fitment and replaced it with an RDF held temporarily in place with two flat elastic bands.
    It is now very easy to align in daylight. I await clear skies to try in the night sky.
