    can anyone help please i have just purchased a motorola xoom and would like to download a star finder app could someone tell me the best way to do this and the best app to get hold of many thanx clear skies always jimmythemoonlight
    hi everyone i'm jimmythemoonlight i've been guided to this part of the site to tell people what equiptment i have so here goes i have a skywatcher 130p on a eq2 mount and with them i received a pair of planet telescope bins 101m/1000m or 10x25 also moon filter the ep's i've got are; super 25 wide angle long eye relief a x2 barlow lens and a super 10mm ep also a t ring and a t ring adapter for astrophotography thats all upto now when i become more experienced i hope to get the 200 or the 250 depending on funds hope i've done the right thing as i am new to this site i'm sure someone will let me know if i haven't

    If you can wait until January, Sky Safari is supposed to be released for Android. You have a pretty popular tablet, so I would imagine that it will be one of the supported devices.

    It looks like you'll be able to control your goto telescope via Bluetooth with the android version.

    I've been using EphemDroid lately to get transit times for the Great Red Spot on Jupiter as well as moon transits.
