Default Newby question about a Skyliner 200P

    Good day,

I'm brand new to Astronomy, I bought a Telescope (Sky Watcher Skyliner 200P Flexi Tube Auto) this week, and I'm still busy learning the in's and out's.

I have a question (the first of MANY) regarding the Control unit, it has the normal arrow keys, then it has slew speed key which double in function when pressed in combination with eachocher. Then, at the bottom, it has a "Go", "Set" and when pressed together "Cruise" button. What are these, what is their function?

    Thank you very much,

    And clear skies to all!!!

hi and welcome to the forums.
i have the same scope, ignore them.
it's a generic handset that is used with various
    scopes from s/w.
they do nothing on your scope.
    clear skies,

He he, allright, thats awesome then... Thank you for the quick response...

Did you also have the problem where the Altitude clucth wont engage when lifting the scope from 0 degrees using the controller? The motor would turn the gear, but the scope remained stationary...

(I resolved it by adding a counter weight to the back of the scope, now it works like a charm )
