    Question Help with Barlows.

What I want to know is the price range of the 2x barlows. The range doesn't include cheap ones that doesn't have good performance. The range includes good enough for beginners like me to good quality.

From the price range given I can go on with my other questions

I have a zhumell 2" barlow, got it off telescopes.com for $50. I don't quite understand your question, you can check out the website and see what they cost, you can spend upwards of 275 for a barlow if not more. I am a beginner so I wanted one that was affordable and I am very pleased with the quality. I would venture to guess that if you have expensive eyepieces then you might want to get an expensive barlow. So I guess it depends what your looking to spend.

I'm happy with the one I got when I look through a 8" dobsonian. Hope this helps.

Focuser length meaning focuser travel. Barlows require additional travel of the focuser, which can be a problem with some Newtonians. It is best to try before you buy, or be sure of the return policy.
