Hey, it's not like anyone got hurt. I've owned telescopes for "only" 20 years, and very often I haul my 12" dob outside and start using it immediately (especially if I have nothing better to do inside while it cools). This time of year the secondary fogs up fairly quickly (just 4 hours are enough for me to have to use the hair dryer), so I want to make the most out of it whenever I get a chance.

What I'm saying is...in Xmas morning...even MORE understandable !
