    Default PhD2 Calibration

    Hello,

I have been having trouble getting PhD to calibrate and when it does the north and west motion axes are very nonorthogonal. Looking at the calibration (link below) it doesn't look like the declination backlash is the issue since the declination motion backtracks along the same line. I have read the troubleshooting guide at https://openphdguiding.org/man-dev/Trouble_shooting.htm and don't see any suggestions for what I am seeing. Any ideas what is causing this?

    Thanks

Not really. But I suspect balance could be a problem.

I have also used my C8 on my AVX and the AVX struggles with the weight. I have to balance it very carefully to get some close to good calibration.

That is what leads me to suggest as the first culprit.

Try setting the Dec and ra guide speed the same, also some mounts work better on different guide speeds
