    Default Beginner 4k Eclipse time lapse from live stream



    I was glad to be part of this and just wanted to share a quick time-lapse of the efforts. Yes we made errors, but that just added to the fun and created a bit of tension.

    We started the time lapse/ live stream with a Nikon p1000 on a celestron mount. WE soon realised as we approached totality that it just wasn't going to cut the mustard so switched to a
    Celestron 8"SCT Evo OTA with sony A7R II had superb footage for the rest of the event. We gathered a concurrent 13k viewers for the live stream which by the end had been engaged by 100k people. Truly Awesome. Currently - the live stream has had just over 530k hits.

    So here's the time lapse reel.



    Please remember we are all beginners to this. We will learn and move forwards hopefully getting better as we go.

    Yes it was very unexpected. We thought if we got 2k watchers we would be doing well. But it just kinda exploded. I hope we did enough to at least interest some in the chat and bring others to this truly mystifying hobby.
