    Default Guide Camera ideas

    Good morning!

I am looking for help selecting a guide camera however I don't want to get the standard camera with ST-4 port. I will be plugging it to my laptop that is running eqmod so I don't need it. I find the regular guide cameras are expensive. Is it possible to use a solar system imager like the orion starshoot, or celestron version to guide? I could use my 9x50 finder scope with it.

    Thanks,
    Luc
