Default Mac app for star trails

    hey guys,
Tell me an image stacking app for Mac. I tried StarStaX but did not get good results, every time I stacked 20s exposures it gave me a small gap within the star trails after processing them. Maybe Im doing something wrong, please help.

I use Photoshop CS6. I also have a free script that offers some options to the look of the trails.

I am just evaluating a trial version of PixInsight on Mac, and it works like a charm.
See PixInsight — Pleiades Astrophoto for details.

    Cheers,
