    Default Hi-Res Sombrero Galaxy

I came across this on Google+ from my Astronomy / Astrophotography circles. I believe it's the hubble image of the Sombereo Galaxy, but someone else processed it giving it a purple hue. It's a very hi-res version and contains lots of detail.

It's large, so I'm just going to link to it here.

Thanks for posting that David. I know that the Hubble site has image data available for individuals to download and process. This might be one of those images.

Well, I suppose I don't have to wait until I take my own images to learn the processing part.

    Thanks!
