    I'm having the same issue with a Nearstar 70mm Solar scope by Coronado. The right angle piece cannot be removed. There is another filter located in that piece that keeps you from burning a hole in your eye. I'm trying to hook up using a Canon 50D with an EOS adapter. I went to a shop in my area to see what I could do and they suggested using the eyepiece to focus through. I just don't see that as the optimum answer.

    Can you please show how you have it connected to the scope? That would help me determine what I need to do in order to hook mine up.

    Yep, dead thread, but here is something that will help you: Baader Planetarium - pdf downloads in englisch language the Hyperian Zoom pdf is about halfway down the page.
