    Here is my set-up (less the DSLR), still evolving. "Evolving" means I am still learning how to use it

    Nicely done Albert. I like the use of the wire conduit to keep everything tidy. Nothing worse than 10 tangled wires to trip over in the dark!

    Thanks ChuckWalters. Yes, everything feeds into one, ten-foot length of 3/4" split-back tubing. Makes it a breeze to store and set-up, too.

    So I think I have finally completed my entry level AP setup.
    It is a C6-SGT
    6" OTA w/ CG5-GT mount
    The all important Dew shield
    Telrad
    6x30 finder scope
    Canon 1000D with prime focus adapter
    Canon 18-55 or 75-300 kit lens
    Microsoft Lifecam for planets
    Belkin 4 port USB hub
    RS232 cable with USB adapter
    using Stelarium for telescope control
    EOS utility for camera control
    SharpCap for webcam control
    All attached to my trusty laptop with VNC Server running so that i can control everything from the comforts of my house.
    Gotta love technology.

    So what do yall think. Decent setup? I still want to get a guider but I think that is going to have to wait.
