    Haumea - 2003 EL61
Haumea is a dwarf planet and a plutoid orbiting the sun in the Kuiper
belt. Haumea has a typical orbit for a classical Kuiper belt object,
with an orbital period of 283 Earth years, a perihelion of 35 AU, and
    an orbital inclination of 28°.

Imaged on April 4th and April 5th 2009 using the 0.61m f/10 Cassegrain
at the Sierra Stars Observatory. 120 seconds unfiltered image, cut
down to 5 x 5 arc minutes. Haumea was at magnitude 17.3.

A good point. The idea is to start with the easiest targets and

So far there are six TNO's on the site at :

Magnitude 19.5, especially if the object has a southern declination,
seems to be about the limit for a single 120 sec exposure with the
0.61m scope. The next step will probably be 300 second exposures.
