Default Meade Series 5000 ED APO Refractors

I know that most people can find web pages, but I thought that there might
be some interest in this relatively new page:
    http://www.meade.com/APO/index.html

The Meade website also has some images taken with Meade APOs, but it was not
clear if the images were taken with these new scopes. On another forum a
fellow mentioned that a Meade rep at a recent star party said that the 80mm
would be available this summer and the 127mm would be available next year
    sometime.

My interest is in the 127mm as a possible replacement for my "museum piece"
    Celestron Pacific 5.5-inch Schmidt Camera (s/n # 30) for wide-field imaging.

Thanks for link, George. I find it interesting that they're using Hoya FCD1
glass for their low dispersion element. This is similar to Ohara FPL51, a
    first generation ED glass.
