Default Celestron vs. Lumicon Oxigen III filters

I had great views tonight with the Lumicon O-III filter on Veil nebula
and others. Now I want to buy one.
Seems, the Lumicon O-III is twice the price of the Celestron O-III,
    searching on the net.
    Is there any quality difference?
    Thx, Julius

You might want to check out the DGM Optics NPB filter. It's somewhere
between the Lumicon UHC and the Lumicon OIII. However, it gices a
brighter image than either, and distorts stellar color much less than
either of the Lumicons. And it's $105 for a 2".

    Clear skies,

    Julius;
What size scope did you look through? What size scope do you have? How
    important is sharp stars?

In my personal opinion, I have found the Lumicon to have better
contrast than the Celestron. I also found the TeleVue OIII has sharper
stars and a more natural look and really works a LOT better on smaller
    (8" or less) scopes.

    Steve.

PS; I have worked for Orion and TeleVue in the past and have tested
    LOTS of skyglow filters...

My C-11, borrowed the Lumicon O-III.
I want to use it on nebulas, not stars. But stars, seems were very sharp.
    Thx!
