    Default SAA and moderation

It is surprisingly easy to self-moderate any newsgroup. Once you realise
that it is not obligatory to read every post and every reply to every post,
a great load is lifted from your mind. It soon becomes clear whose posts you
can safely ignore, and not long after that you get a feel from the subject
headings that there are other posts that are not worth your time. But a
little anarchy is good, and keeps SAA alive. The dead hand of an elected or
self-appointed moderator could stifle this little community, and I hope it
    never happens.
