    Hi anyone used the PrimeFilm 1800 Silver scanner for astrophotos?
    Recommendations?

    I haven't used them but you should look at the deals at Publishing
    Perfection on the refurb Nikons and others.

    They have refurb units for a hefty discount from new. I bought a Nikon
    Coolscan a few years back and it has served me well.
