    Hello all.

    3 questions:

    1. where can you get registax and is it free?

    2. does it only stack webcam pics or could I scan a slide with my slide
scanner and stack them as well?

    3. What file formats does it use (ie; jpeg, tiff, jpe....)

    Thanks in advance

    Joe

    Howdy:

    1. <http://aberrator.astronomy.net/registax/>

    2. It can stack .bmps from any source.

    3. .avi files and .bmp files.

    Peace,
    Rod

    Rod,

As I recall it stacks jpegs, too -- important since most digicams store
in jpeg format (unless in movie mode).

It will also read .jpg's. I just finished using it for the first time on
8 stills of Mars from my Canon A40 and the improvement over a single still
    is quite good.
