    Default Star day

Yesterday I went off at three o clock to the local Astro Society of which I am a committee member.
We were doing some graphics tuition (so I was more than interested) It was more or less a photoshop familiarisation getting as far as deconvolution by the time we finished. - at 6.15pm whereupon I went to the committee meeting folloed by the general meeting and finally getting home at 10pm. I'm all starred out!

While we were in the committee meeting I learned that the outreach to the local high school we did last week resulted in 16 telescopes being set up on their cricket pitch and nearly 800 people visiting to look through them and attend a lecture from our future club president - a lady who is the Cassini Rep for Australia.

All in all a very successful evening.
