I've found the Orion Explorer II Zoom eyepiece pretty usefull...... even made my crappy Tasco thing usable.

It's handy, because you can change between using 7mm / 9mm / 11mm / 15mm / 21mm zoom without having to mess about changing eyepieces.

You may also want to consider looking at the "Orion Deepview" eyepieces
