Would you like to see what the Pope refused to see? Do you have binoculars?
Step outside tonight with your binoculars. Look south and not too high up (unless you are in the southern hemisphere). You will see what appears to be a very bright star. You can't miss it.
The star has two other tiny little stars next to it about the two oclock position. You may have to brace yourself against a wall to see it more clearly. Well........tomorrow night look again.
Tomorrow you will see FOUR tiny stars lined up next to the big one. There will be two on each side!
Is this a sign of the apocalypse?
Is this a message from Satan?
Is this Jupiter and its moons? YUP!
When Galaleo showed this for the time, it almost cost him his life. Jupiter has four moons that we can see with even simple binoculars. As these moons change position around Jupiter, they proved to us that our Earth is not the center of the Universe, and that everything in space does not revolve around us.
Go on. Get up off your butt and go look.
