That bright star near the moon tonight is most definitely Jupiter. Venus is currently the "evening star," so it will be setting in the west soon after sunset.
Jupiter is at opposition, so it's going to rise in the east at sunset and stay in the sky all night long. When the moon is full, they'll be together in the sky for the whole night.
