O and B stars tend to be quite massive and therefore use their fuel more quickly-a matter of several million years as opposed to the billions of years of smaller stars. There are exceptions though, as usual. Check out research papers on M80, or search on "blue stragglers", and you should find them. Blue stargglers are basically hot, young stars in globulars, of which M80 has more than expected.
